From Stocktonia: Stockton City Council Approves More Than $200,000 in City Hall Security Measures

Earlier in March, the Stockton City Council approved $236,479 from the city's general fund to improve security measures at the near-century old building. Some questioned the fiscal common sense of the measures, when City Hall is scheduled to move to the new City Hall location at Waterfront Towers, 501 and 509 W. Weber Ave., by the end of 2025.
However, Mayor Christina Fugazi said, "I want our councilmembers, as well as the staff and the public, to feel like they are in a safe location."
